
Paul Anderson II
Paul L. Anderson II (PLA2) is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, and holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP). While at UNCP Paul was featured in numerous ensembles as a performer, soloist, and guest conductor. He has performed at the North Carolina Music Educators Association and North Carolina American Choral Directors Association conferences. Other performance venues include the St. Louis Cathedral (New Orleans, LA); St. Benedict Cathedral (Evansville, IN); San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Mexico City, Mexico.
Paul serves as the founding director of the Deep River Singers, a choral ensemble that promotes the performance, education, and preservation of Negro Spirituals. He is also pursuing his Master of Music in Choral Conducting at the University of Missouri - Columbia where he serves as a graduate teaching assistant and one of the conductors of Hitt Street Harmony.
